Obituary
Stephen M. Mueller, 72, of Mendota, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023 at his home with his family by his side.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Bill Clark officiating. Mendota VFW Post 4079 will have a flag presentation.
Stephen was born on July 19, 1950 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Tracy and Lillian (Singleton) Mueller. He married Nancy Jackson on December 30, 1972 in Mendota.
Steve was a 1969 graduate of Mendota High School. He served in the United States Navy. He loved music, riding motorcycles and woodworking. Steve was considered to be a religious man. Before his retirement he worked at A&B Auto Body, O'Neal Steel and ComEd.
He is survived by his daughter Valerie (Dan) Kramer of Peru; sister Katherine (Martin) Kotar of Gallatin, Tennessee and many great friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nancy in 2019 and an infant son.
