Obituary
Tamara Faith Castner, 77, of LaMoille, formerly of Princeton, died Dec. 14, 2016 surrounded by her family.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Merritt Funeral is assisting the family.
Tamara was born Aug. 27, 1939 in Princeton to Gail Mortimer and Doris Juanita (Hubbard) Castner.
Survivors include her friend and companion of 34 years, Elizabeth "B.J." Brown of LaMoille; two daughters, Joy (Jeffrey) Sterling and Elizabeth "Libby" (James) Ambler, both of Mendota; seven granddaughters, Danielle, Haley, Eva, Erica, Elysia, Elaina and Elivia; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Susan Webster of Princeton and Chris Hanson of Bureau.
She was preceded by her parents; one granddaughter, Candace; and a sister, Judith.
Tamara was a graduate of Princeton High School.
Memorials may be directed to Illinois Valley Animal Rescue in LaSalle.
