Thelma "Susie" Ladson, 89, of Mendota, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 16, 1936, in LaMoille, the daughter of Ralph and Theresa (Noverio) Allen.

Susie was hard working and industrious her entire life. She retired from Hart Carter in Mendota after 44 years of work. She was very generous and would donate to any cause she could. She had a kind heart with a passion for animals. Susie was a woman of strong faith and devotion. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene for 68 years. She loved and was loved by so many people. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Susie is survived by her daughter, Connie (Rick) Borelli of Mendota; daughter-in-law, Brandi Clark of Mendota; twelve grandchildren, Angela (Dave) Hedger of Elgin, Joe (Laura) Eich of LaSalle, Jamie (Sam) Napolitano of Warner Robins, GA, Scott (Kim) Borelli of Mendota, Chris (Lindsey) Borelli of Troy Grove, Jeff (Trisha) Clark of Mendota, Jason Clark of Minnesota, Brandy Foht of Iowa, Kaleena McIntyre of Arkansas, Kyle (Marcy) Clark of Mendota, Madison (Tyler) Woods of Mendota, and Mikayla Clark of Mendota; 20 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a sister, Margaret Puyear; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Susie is preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Clark; two brothers, Fred and George Allen; and her husband, Jack E. Clark.

The funeral service will take place at 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 1, 2026, at the Horner-Merritt Funeral Home, 800 Monroe Street in Mendota with Rev. Mary Bohall officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery in Mendota.
