Thomas M. Koretke, 64, of Mendota
died Nov. 28, 2013, in his home.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec.
7 in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, with
a private service to follow. The Rev. Fredi
Gomez-Torres will officiate. Burial will be
private at a later date.
Mr. Koretke was born Jan. 2, 1949,
in Aurora to Richard and Barbara Jean
(Brummel) Koretke. He married Mary
English on Dec. 8, 1986, in Decatur.
He owned and operated Thomas
Construction Co. He was a member of
National Rifle Association and Dallas
Safari Club, and was an avid hunter.
He is survived by his wife; four daughters,
Christina (Mike) Botos of Cincinnati,
Ohio, Kimberly (Tim) Kiser of Lake, Mich.,
Kelly (Mike) Bronger of Bloomington and
Maurine (Matt) Marquis of Mendota; five
grandchildren, April, TJ, Rachel, Mason
and Morgan; two sisters, Barbara Ann
Koretke and Mary Beth Koretke; five brothers,
Chuck Koretke, Rich Koretke, Bill
Koretke, Paul Koretke and John Koretke;
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
