Tom grew up in Carrolltown, Pennsylvania and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He graduated from Cambria Heights High School and went on to earn a Bachelors' Degree from Northwood Institute (University) in Midland, Michigan.  There he met his dear friend and employer of 33 years, Tom Prescott, of Prescott Brothers, Inc. He played in several sports leagues, including softball, golf, and bowling. He coached Junior Tackle Football for over 20 years and was active with the Mendota High School Football program.  Tom also coached Mendota Little League for several years. Tom was a loving husband and father who cherished his family.  He often spoke of his wonderful family memories, which included his father, Ned, mother, Mary Jane, brother, Dave and sister-in-law, Denise.

He is survived by his wife Betsy of Mendota; two sons Jacob and Matthew; his parents of Carrolltown, PA.; brother Dave (Denise) Westrick of Arlington, VA.;  brothers-in law Mike Durand and Jim (Griselda) Durand; sister-in-law Sarah Swords;  his nieces and nephews, Missy (Ryan) Watson, Lea (Clifford) Bohn, Matthew David Westrick, Haley Swords, Ben Swords, Bryan Durand, Erik Durand, Eddie Durand, and great-niece, Peyton Rose Watson.  Tom may be gone, but his love, humor and happiness will never be forgotten.
