Tracy M. Ernat, 36, of Mendota died Jan. 11, 2012, in Mendota Community Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, with the Rev. Richard Schaill officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation is two hours prior to services Monday at the funeral home. She was born Feb. 23, 1975, in Mendota to Donny and Linda (Kent) Nantz. She worked as a cook at Heritage Manor Nursing Home for 15 years. She is survived by her mother, Linda (Bob) Kurtz of Mendota; one daughter, Mariah Morales of Mendota; one son, Kaleb Sessler of Mendota; one brother, Jeremiah Nantz of Mendota; one half brother Jeffrey Fisher of Mendota; one stepsister, Megan Sonsoucie of Streator; and five uncles, Lonnie (Gloria) Kent and Rick (Marlene) Kent, both of Mendota, Mike (Deb) Kent of Earlville, Alan (Diane) Kent of LaMoille and Darrell (Karina) Kent of Arkansas; and one niece Alyssa Nantz of Troy Grove. She was preceded in death by her father; and grandparents, Oran and Shirley Kent. Memorials may be directed to the family.
