Viola M. Greskiewicz, 85, of Mendota, died May 23, 2012, in Mendota Lutheran Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. The Rev. William Ultch will officiate. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. She was born May 8, 1927, in Compton to Jesse and Gladys (Davison) Aughenbaugh. She was a graduate of Mendota High School and was employed by HCC in Mendota for 25 years before retiring in 1992. She was a member of Faith Bible Fellowship of Troy Grove and Navy Mothers Club of Mendota. Survivors are two daughters, Patricia (Jim) Johnson of Compton and Marjery (Louie) Redcliff of Compton; two sons, William (Sandy) Greskiewicz of Mendota and Michael (Kathi) Greskiewicz of Maple Park; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Cliff (Verna) Aughenbaugh of Compton; one sister, Shirley Jeanblanc of Sublette; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Donald Aughenbaugh. Memorials may be directed to Navy Mothers Club or the donors choice.
