Virginia (Quinn) Musick, 95, of Littleton, Colo., and formerly of Mendota, died Feb. 26, 2010, in Littleton Adventist Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in First Presbyterian Church, Mendota, with the Rev. Dale Dykstra officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation is 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. She was born Dec. 18, 1914, in Shirley, Ill., to Harry B. and Katherine Quinn. She married Dr. Rowland H. Musick. She lived in Mendota for many years before moving to Colorado in October 2000 to be with her children. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, PEO Sisterhood, Daughters of the American Revolution, Society of Boonesborough and was a dame with Magna Charta Society. She was a life member of Mendota Community Hospital Auxiliary and was a Pink Lady at the hospital. She volunteered with Lighted Way in La Salle, Mendota Area Christian Food Pantry and Blackstone School. She is survived by one daughter, Caroline Capoot of Englewood, Colo.; one son, Dr. James Musick of Conifer, Colo.; one grandson, Barry Capoot of Cherry Hills Village, Colo.; five great-grandchildren; and one niece. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years in 1996; two sisters and two brothers. Memorials may be directed to Denver Rescue Mission.
