Obituary

Wayne E. Heinzeroth, 64, of Mendota died May 31, 2011, in his residence. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, with the Rev. Larry Sheaves officiating. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. He was born Oct. 17, 1946, in Mendota to Leroy and Mabel (Earich) Heinzeroth. He served with the U.S. Army. He worked as an assembler at Black Bros. in Mendota for 32 years before his retirement. He is survived by two daughters, Jodi (David) Manning of Mendota and Suzanne (Joshua) Saylor of Cibolo, Texas; five grandchildren, Jessica and Jenna Manning and Alexander, Austin and Jerzie Saylor; one brother, Keith (Vina) Heinzeroth Sr. of Mendota; and five sisters, Pearl (Clarence) Pfeiffer of Dixon, Ruth Musser of Mendota, Velma (Donald) Schmidt of Mendota, Joyce (Jim) Spanier of Mendota and Katherine (Leonard) Funfsinn of Mendota. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Donald and Richard Heinzeroth, and one sister, Dorothy Hunter. Memorials may be directed to the family.
