William Lewis Stuart, 70, of Mendota, passed away Friday, August 28, 2026, at his home. He was born November 6, 1955, in Mendota, the son of Lester and Esther (nee Ferguson) Stuart. He married Lesley Ann Alteri on June 5, 2004, in Niagara Falls.

Bill is survived by his wife, Lesley; a brother, Mark (Sara) Stuart;  a sister, Marilyn Borri; and several nieces and nephews.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation care has been provided by the Horner-Merritt Funeral Home in Mendota.
