Melvin "Mel" J. Laboda, 83, of La Moille IL passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL.  Mel was born November 2, 1941 in Chicago, IL the son of John and Bernice (Sliwa) Loboda.  Mel proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. There will be a private burial of cremated remains at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Mendota, IL at a later date.
